yep, ever been to the Windsor spectacular Steve, the B.A.D (blown alcohol displacement) boats, bring the house down. 5x 2500hp boats, doing 3 laps. it'll change your life.
R.I.P. McCosker, Crossie and many others, most radical motorsport I've ever seen.

Got to agree, boat racing is an awesome spectator sport, those drivers have seriously massive balls.
Crossy was a gun and a great bloke, he drove everything like he stole it. Rival and Miscreant were always tough.
I was watching some of his video's racing on and off the water over the weekend.
Brian and Liberty are boating legends, awesome achievements over the years.
    Tragically taken too soon.

There's been some big safety improvements since these legends passed. Hopefully it continues to make a difference.

Not sure if any B.A.D. boats will be there, but the blown lites definitely will be, at 130mph on the water, they're fantastic to see. Other V8 classes there will be 4.2L, 6.0L, and the 105mph class.

blown lites is a really good class, they have "cheap restrictions" to keep it competitive.
if you love v8s at full noise, 5 boats going for it, for at least a minute or 3 (depends on class) you'll love this stuff. ACTION, like HQ368 says, testicular planets, lol.
    6 litre n.a. = mega RPM x nascar motors.

Yeah guys , it was a great sport to be involved in over the years where the big boys were racing such as "Liberty", "Madness" and "Maniac". I raced a boat called "Predator" for 5 years and then drove "Joker's Wild" for a few years after that in the 6 litre class (still over 100mph ) . It was such an ADRENALINE rush but when the guys started getting killed and hurt it certainly changed the line of thinking therefore more

I watched the racing at Murray Bridge yesterday, I think it was the state titles. loads of killer ski race boats. The kids went nuts watching it ! They loved the noise and speed ... who doesn't?

I've always wanted to build a hot ski boat, the river is one of few places you can stick a hot as hell engine into something and have fun without the club membership, the racing license, track fees and all the other rubbish that goes with trying to have legal fun with cars.

A Stephens 19V rear mount is on the whish list.
