    CP forged pistons
    6in rods
    12.5 comp
    250@050 solid f/t
    ported VNs 296cfm @.750lift
    2.02in 1.60ex
    Pacemaker 1 5/8 try/y and 1 3/4 try/y

will add more as i go,

what other types of tests would you guys like to see on the old faithful Holden V8s? including early head also, im looking for ideas on interesting tests. cheers

How about a 103 hp increase by adding a 1" open spacer to a T2 intake? Just kidding!

Well, actually not.....kidding. A bloke on a Pontiac forum made this ridiculous claim a few years ago. An experienced Pontiac engine builder. Swallowed his own bulls**t. I see he no longer mentions the magic spacer.....

It would be hard to do a direct comparison but how about some sort of early vs VN heads on the same short motor (other than camshaft).

Allports wanted to try Redline tunnel ram for vn heads..we had been waiting ages for them to be released but never got chance.

He wouldn't touch chinawinder but had ported out a few hi-winders with good results for av8 members back them.

Iirc 1 5/8 still worked well even on big bangers...there was a crossover point where 1 3/4 worked better...testing difference with 2.5" vs 3" would be cool.

I'd like to know if having breathers/catchcan tapped to intake instead of rocker covers makes a tuning/power difference or
