I ran a set of CAE extractors (SBC Tri-Ys into Torana) about 15 years ago. They were actually really good pipes, bolted up with no mods and performed well. No issues at all with their build quality. I only sold them off a few years later because I was convinced that I needed 4 into 1's and bigger pipe sizes (had caught the drag racing bug at the time so was chasing every tenth I could).

I've used their BBF pipes , fitted awesome . I did do a little tidying up at the inner flange just out of the head to help flow as the pipes were tight out. But for the $$$ they worked great.
Have used prob a dozen of their starters all sweet

Is this what used to be called Castle Auto Electrics or something similar ?
If so I bought a set of VN V8 to HQ extractors from them in about 1998.
Fitted up well.
Still got them in the car and they are still fine after doing probably 150,000 km since.Rob

If they are Castle Headers I have a tri-y set for LX torana. Passenger side needed massaging and drive side down past the steering, yet to find out. Quality is ok. Pacemaker is better IMO.

hi
ALL ***Ozzy**** headers have trouble with modern technology
eg slant plug chev heads ,,,most serious heads are slant plug for chev
large exhaust port size big cube and blower application
step headers either increase or decrease in size
adapter plate headers seem very very uncommon
Not the only time I`ve heard of Cae headers needing mods .Clearance seems to be 10mm in my application.
Yes u gotta luv the disclaimer included with quote hmmmmmm!!!
Redtaxi

swampy; I remember looking at that adjustable PCV in other threads previously - it's a pretty cool bit of gear, along with the price tag to match. Since I only see 6" of idle vacuum, I wouldn't be...
