    Same as above, option F.
For that sort of money invested in a car I would want original with matching numbers.
I wouldn’t expect an immaculate car.

    drive train 10,000$
paint and body 10,000-20,000$ ,,concours level body dipping etc 25,000 +
    Hard to find parts 5,000$

They're all more than I would want to spend but if I was spending that amount of money on a car and they were the choices I would go the Q as first choice and the V8 VL as second choice

No before photos of Monaro. No mention of history ie “been in the family for x years”. Did say “tags suggest 308 4-speed and rally red” comes with the other bare 4 door beside it but that’s just offloading excess crap around the house.

I've said to a few clowns like these, you need to dig a very big hole because you are going to the grave with it at that price. Usually get a blank stare.

    Hi
Burnt out kangaroo chas`in shit box = VL last shown

What ripoff merchants do is strip anything worth money and sell the really ""good" shell. Ever notice how many monaros kingwood shells are sold .
    I hate the thieves
One very common ebay jock is an ex jeweller. Goes with out saying his prices are very high.

Usa 1 owner Elcamino 45,000K ozd delivered Oz BB ac pwr str

I am also surprised these days how many people get all assertive like that in their ads. It’s like hey have in their possession something all the world is craving to have. They say they are not budging on price but I wonder how they are when they are the buyer of such things?

    Examples:

    “NOT INTERESTED IN SWAPS
    NOT INTERESTED IN OPINIONS
If you want more photos that’s fine but better to look..
    Inspection by appointment only
Photo of License will be taken before viewing...!!!
    Price is $50000
Not remotely interested in lower offers...”

“Don't like the price don't comment or it will be deleted”

“Price is FIRM - if the price is not for you, that's okay - you don't have to buy it. Feel free to keep scrolling.”

I know there is some knob buyers out there but the idea of selling something is because you don’t want or need it anymore. The buyer has got the money that is more important to you than what you are selling otherwise you wouldn’t be selling so being nice and polite and even faking your open to offers will help get that money. Fending off potential buyers knob or not won’t help line your pockets. I haven’t bothered considering dealing with some sellers that advertise with the attitude of the amazingly valuable VL owner.

I think it's also coming back to there is nothing to buy new. I'm 31 and actually in the financial position to buy a new or close to new car for the first time. Needs to be V8, manual, able to do long highway kms, and ideally a ute (or wagon at a pinch).

Obviously 10 years ago i would walk into Holden/HSV and buy a SS/Maloo or whatever the ford was at the time. But looking now it's a Camaro, Mustang or Land-cruiser. Best suited is technically the land cruiser, but really don't want or need another 4x4.

Vf maloo you are looking over 70k, and they are 4-5 years old.

Here’s an interesting line in an add:

“I'm clearing my shed and need them gone
    $500 no offers”

Need them gone, no offers. Not logically consistent.

The irony is the seller has now dropped the price to $400
