exhaust header parts etc where from ????

looking for a parts place that can supply mild steel mandrel bends 1 7/8 primaries , collector , cylinder head flange , etc at a reasonable price .
Cae was one place considering . Can anyone suggest other places ????.

Probably tack weld and trial fit then get someone to TIG weld

B4 everyone asks ,no one makes off the shelf headers to suit

Try ECS Exhaust. I've used them a few times with no complaints.

I know you are in N. Qld, but Roadstar in Sydney sells all the bends. I know they have stainless, not sure about m/steel. The stainless is incredibly cheap, might be cheaper than MS from another source. Mate made his own headers using these s/s bends.

When u live in Nth Qld everything is far away . A sunday drive is 1000--1500km`s LOL

All parts come from Brisbane thru to Melbourne fairly common . Most times a ute load stacked full of parts is easily done .

Just for your information I would suggest not using dea performance , I ordered a 2.5” catback exhaust from my vs v8 Ute last year and man it took a long time to get it , was waiting around six weeks and rang them on various occasions as I was going to cancel the order and just go to a local exhaust shop .

Many places donot bend there own so pricing varies alot . Paying around 20$ a bend does not seem very economical .Just pricing the project out at the moment .Closer to 10-15 per bend is common online .

SPEC of tube -----bend radius and thickness 1.2 1.6 2.0mm varies between suppliers also

Don’t know the price difference so maybe not viable but instead of x20 bends of whatever ‘x’ degrees you were looking at have you considered some of these mandrel bent seamless doughnuts? X12 of 30* out of each of those suckers or make whatever infinite angle you need. Might be able to get them from somewhere like Atlas Steels Mackay at a better rate than exhaust suppliers?
