Default How to install YT nonajustable roller rocker

    I have looked for this
    I just need a simple answer .

On 304 vn head .do i tighten the rocker bolts on yella terra non ajustable shaft rockers .
    Tight till they stop ?

The shaft must be tight down right ?
Then the rockers .rock .on the shafts
    Is that right ?

Not a simple answer mate, as several things need to be checked before you tighten those bolts down.
    1. check rocker geometry for valve contact and pushrod length.
    2. Lifter pre-load must be checked also, where you want 3/4 to 1 1/2 turns past zero lash.

You tube has plenty of vids showing how, much easier than explaining it on here.

If i have to shim 1 ,will I need to shim all .
I have found that ,1rocker on the shaft needs a shim and the other dosnt .
Should the spring go down while tightning the bolt?

    3. Make sure the lifter is on the base circle of the cam when setting pre-load.

If the spring is compressing whilst tightening, you are on a lobe and that's not good.

    Keep watching Youtube.

EH179 has provided you good advice without writing war and peace. There are soo many variables so there is no exact copy and paste answer.

You need to check all rockers for pre-load, correct valve contact and pushrod length.
How much lifter pre-load are you getting without adding shims?
I hope you are checking your lifter pre-load on the base circle of the cam lobe...
