Sorry another valve cover question..
I'm so sorry all for another valve cover question I have searched and couldn't find anything. I am putting a 308 with VN heads into my VH commodore and I am wanting to know if these will fit with the duel diaphragm brake booster??? Also can they be set up with a pcv valve like the factory 5l EFI valve covers?? Thanks and once again sorry for another valve cover question.. link below....

Use the factory VN rocker covers...

They should clear the booster as they are lower than a standard VN cover. You shouldn't have any issues setting up a PCV system, it will just require a little creativity and a few AN fittings.

That’s a lot of money for Ching Chong rocket covers!!!!as Pauly said I would run standard rocker covers or buy the cheaper Ching Chong ones off eBay , I bought a similar set but for early head and they where find and around $100-150 from memory

Those VN rocker covers are one of the nicest valve covers for a production engine I cant understand why you would go to an aftermarket be they chinese or other, that will probably leak oil..

The ones in the OP have a flat 3/8" thick flange and they seal really well. I'm using the same cheap paper gaskets I put on the engine when I built it ~ 2-1/2 years ago and they don't leak a drop. Couldn't say the same for the factory covers on my old VT daily, they always seemed to leak no matter what gaskets I used on them.

Hi .OP
i used aftermarket valve covers on vn heads in a hj with factory ac box ,and they where a pain in the butt. They are hard up against the ac box
After a whole lot of stuffing around im going back to original covers ,pollished
Just my experience .
