Default Torque Power's dyno engine for sale - 355 cube 530 odd HP

Talking to Craig today - he's selling the engine he built for testing his early head intake manifolds, this one:

    http://www.aussiev8.com.au/holden-v8...o-testing.html

    Motor has all the fruit:

Block 1/2 grout filled, line honed with ARP main studs & girdle, lifter bores fitted with bronze bushes for roller cam, torque plate bored & honed etc etc.
Scat crank, Scat rods with ARP2000 bolts, SRP forged pistons, ACL race bearings, steel balancer.
Mechanical roller cam - 248/253 on 108 centres, crane roller followers, crane pushrods, crane springs, retainers & machined collets, teflon seals.
    YT platinum shaft rockers.
Heads are his CNC -3's (top notch heads).
Has billet CNC front cover, electric water pump, Hi-energy pro-circuit pan, fabricated alloy rocker covers.
Intake is the high rise dual plane.

    Selling minus carb & ignition.

Motor has done dyno time only - about 25 pulls, it's run in & ready to rock, bullshit tough street engine.

$17k & dirt cheap at that price, would cost at least $22k to build - probably closer to $25k.

    For more info contact either Craig 0417 556 201, or me (08) 8376 9540.

    LOL, yeah, that'd be nice!

But hell, we'll get your motor cranking a fair bit harder yet before we need -3's on it.

Would it be rude of me if I said that the best horsepower per dollar ATM would be a Ford engine??

    Yes.

Mind you, I'd like to see a pro built ford donk that cost under $17k intake to sump, including all the nice stuff this has (like billet front cover & electric water pump etc) that'll make this sort of HP & torque.
It could be done easily enough, but not if you're paying someone to do it!
