Hi Pete I was told on here that you might have a s find hand cam laying around for a vn 5.0ltr. Here what I have. I have. Vr ss motor in my Vk with a t5 box and want to run a bigger cam I have lt1 springs that's all that's done to the motor so it has stock comp. and is running a carby set up not efi. If you do have one laying around and selling cheap can you let me know please as this motor is going to stay in the car for around two yrs and maybe travel 1,500km in this time before I finish another note that's why I don't want to buy a new cam. Thanks
  2. no probs justin its all here on file, do you want me to email it or you could swing by and grab it if you want

    Pete,

If your thinking of going Crane 300 or larger, I have a Crane 304 with springs which has done 6 passes.

The other thing is I'm the guy that bought Greg's roller setup, at the time you said you had 8 weeks waiting time, just wondering is it time to bring my heads and block over yet.

    Thanks
    Paul.

    G'day Pete?

im building a turbo small block chev well not me exactly. I'm looking at running a dart block and looking to produce about 800 hp with a turbo. I'm slowly getting parts together but I'm a bit stuck on the block and head volume size. Is a 220cc head a good choice to get 800hp from a turbo motor? Also would a dart complete short block be a good starting point or is a bare block and then buying the parts the way to go eg: crank and rods? I read your 383 street engine build and you did a bit of polishing and deburing to the block so I'm guessing the bare block is the best way to go. I want to do things right the first time. I'm prob about 6 months away from getting one built so can I grab your actual bussiness name so I can look you up when I'm ready. One last thing just curious what it costs for you to assembly and tune a motor.

    appreciate any help

    cheers Craig
