    Mate, I've been reading some of your posts and I can see that you have excellent knowledge on front end alignment specs. Would you happen to have the default settings for a HZ RTS front end alignment, and also any tweaks to the default settings that you can recommend? I have a standard HZ front end with 50mm lowered springs and it understeers quite badly. I'm wondering if the local mechanic has used pre RTS settings for the last wheel alignment. Cheers, Mark

    its all good dude.Car still going great guns...cept killed 2nd trimatic trans. long story short though.. daily driver VN V8. got in a crash insurance wrote off,paid out.then bought wreck off them.next day Ute trimatic turned internals to mince..now in the midle of transplanting VN and trans into Ute..should be a sweet runner.Also got to hurry up as i have a torana waiting for attention and misses sick of parking on front lawn...lol.

    hi 76lxhatch I jus have a question about diffs. in ur torri I believe u have a bm78. I have the same conversion going on with my lx . is brackets change easier then tube cutting, if it isn't,is this due to tube length. I did start to cut r31 brackets but I am definently not going to b able to save them so im hesatent to cut the banjo brackets off, I have a r31 diff not vl,vn . also iwanna put vn diff into hz ute. is it easier to cut tubes and replace in this instance? if you have any ideas please let me no In both cases im happy to run original drums. thanx man for ur time

    Hi 76lx, I'm trying to find out the current situation in NZ on modification rules and regulations. It has become quite strict in OZ and there is a young kiwi posting on Aussie V8 wanting to put a 351 into an old 68 MK2 Cortina, under the new ADR's in OZ it would be a "no go" because of engine capacity to vehicle weight.     Hey chap, if I remember correctly you live in Nelson too??? Was wondering if you could have a chat with me some time about diff's for a VC commodore....mine spat the pinion and Im having trouble finding something to fit that will hand the mild 308 its got. Cheers, Dave

    Thanks 76lxhatch for ur reply, any thoughts on wat i should do bout the m22 gearbox/bellhouing? Should i just buy a m21 or something?
