What's your intentions with the car? Just a Streeter I'm assuming? I personally wouldn't bother with a surge tank if that is the case, I'd just use a...

That question was aimed at me, Keith. Yep, I measured up the rod big ends because I was concerned about that also. The two with the suspect...

Any thoughts as to why rod bearings 3 and 4 were both loose in their housings? I've always thought this was a sign that those cylinders had been...

28 is about right for VN heads. My engine will happily take more timing without rattling, but power dropped off after 28 degrees advance. I'd get...

Have you raced it? Should be good for a high 10 in a Torana I would think. If it's got 1/2" mains conversion already, that should give you a little...

Have you had this thing dynoed at all? Assuming you're running a single plane manifold (Harrop or TP) I'd guess it's making 470-480hp at the moment....

You can mill the heads to achieve whatever compression ratio you like, it's just a case of when piston to valve clearance becomes an issue (which it...

Assuming your pistons are already at zero deck, you just have to mill the heads to bump the comp up. I'm sure HPE will suggest you go to 4 bolt...

You can get to there with 355 cubes. Solid flat tappet in the 260's @ 0.050" lift and extensive work on the cylinder heads will get you there. Better...
