    Hi Todd, yes every bottle - running out of nitrous is not a problem, all it does is run rich which will cause your engine to cough and splutter a bit like a rev limiter.
    Whats dangerous is to run out of fuel pressure - if it runs lean from not supplying enough fuel then you can damage your engine.
    What ive got on my set up is a 4 psi pressure switch on my fuel system which is connected to the nitrous solenoid so if my fuel pressure drops below 4 psi then the pressure switch will turn the nitrous solenoid off but still leave the fuel solenoid on which will cause your engine to run rich which will again cause the engine to cough and splutter and also cool the pistons and valves down very quickly.

    If you make sure you have an adequate fuel system then you wont ever have a problem as i said - running out of nitrous is no big deal, running out of fuel is a big deal as it will damage your engine.

    Mate i think your paying too much for the kit - you can get it on Ebay from a Melbourne supplier for $530 NOS - Sniper Nitrous Kit (100-150 Hp Adjustable) | eBay.

    Allow about $150 for a gauge and shits and bits and maybe the same again for a bottle heater (cheap from the states as its light so postage is not high.


  6. I dnt run vaccum advance either so its set up about 24 or 32 degrees i will hav to check with dad and i have i high volume external holley fuel pump and a 80litre drop tank. Sits half in boot and goes through floor. The car runs like a dream and goes ****ern hard but yeah get hot.

    I would suggest a standard viscous clutch fan with a new clutch and standard surround with the appropriate fan spacer so that at least half the width of the fan blades are in the surround.

    Another cause of over heating when giving it a hard time is lean mixture through wrong jets or fuel pump that wont keep up as well as ignition timing that is too retarded.

    Hi Todd, sorry to hear about your over heating problem.
    Mate unfortunately almost all of those aftermarket fans aren't very good.
    Although from what you've described it sounds to me that you could have one of those cheap water pumps with the pressed steel impeller - these are known to cavitate at high revs which in turn causes the water to slow down through the engine and radiator.
    The fan wont help cool the engine at anything over 80 kph, in a sense its not needed at hwy speeds so if your over heating at hwy speeds or giving it a hard time "at speed" then its not the fan so id be looking at the water pump and make sure its the cast impeller type, the thermostat should be a 180 deg temp not a 195 deg or a 160 deg and in good order.
    Of course your radiator needs to be in good order as well, id prefer a 4 core but on a mild engine a 3 core is ok.
