Does anyone drive a car on a regular basis with a big converter? Daily drives etc. 5000 rpm or so.
Could this be considered streetable car in traffic?

    HI 427
Depends on rpm at 100kph . This takes into account tyre diameter and diff gears .
Some members have around 4000-4500stall with 3300 rpm at 100kmh ,, 10--11.5 down the 1/4

Convertor companies vary, Hughes transmissions prefers no more than 600--800 rpm below stall as the cruising speed . This is a general statement as each case is individual .

Mate, i wouldn't piss on a Hughes transy!
They couldn't even get the clutch clearances right on my Trans from Summit.
And of course Summit were very helpful...
