    Default engine bearing noise

hi is there anyway just to temporarily stop engine bearing noise? i am getting a bottom rebuild, waiting on my mechanic who will be back in a few months. im not driving my car till this is fixed properly besides just around the block every week. I was hoping there is a way just to stop the noise even for 10 minutes. i have a VYSS 6.7lt Chevy striker.
does anyone please know anything temporarily.
would be good to hear if is and of course if there isn't.
    much appreciated thanks.

You shouldn't be driving it as you just risk doing further damage and potentially increasing the bill for the rebuild.

There's a very easy way to stop the knock permanently until you can get it rebuilt........................................... ...........................Don't start the engine lol

    Hi
Depending on the current damage but think about all that metal circulating in the engine.

Back when Chrysler was more common warranty use to be the right foot stopped engine rattles permanently !!
Almost forgot the whole engine was replaced -bad noise that one …..

If you must drive it pull a lead of the offending cylinder if itís a rod knock. Otherwise just park it up for 3 months. Every knock is doing damage. I learnt the hard way when I was younger.

Not sure why you would want to stop the noise "even for 10 minutes". Filled with 90W diff oil might do it! But I wouldn't.
