I see VN Commodores on Gumtree all the time for around 1-2K, so its best to pull the trigger early and reap the rewards like bitcoin.. Yeah, that didnt work out 100% but the concept is good, buy low sell high..

Young people don't care about old shitter holdens because they are too busy twitstergrammbooking and being upset at everything.

Old guys that owned 10 of them are upset because they can't afford to relive their youth when they crashed and burned them on friday and bought another one on sunday.

They aint making them anymore so if someone will pay stupid money for it, here's the keys.

Maybe if idiots didn't keep paying the stupid high prices, the arse would fall out of the market and the prices would drop .

VK GPA just sold here for 125k. I nearly bought one for 27k a long time ago. I bought a house instead. The house in the same time went up about the same % that the GPA did. So same same. 27k was worth more to me then (it was all I had) than the 125k does today. If you want a nice old car buy it. Chances of it going down in value, so long as you look after it, is zero.

Same could be said for the housing market when panel beaters engine builders and and parts suppliers half there rates we might see a drop in the market it’s called inflation first respray in 1997 was $3500 the second one was almost 20k. I wouldn’t lable the guy who has done well for himself and can afford a few toys an idiot .

    HI
What we are all seeing is how overpriced many things in ozzy really are . The TV is already reporting houses being sold at a loss is increasing greatly .
Cheaper to get trans and diff built overseas.
Only 2 places that does true custom axles in Ozzy with prices that reflect that.!!!!!
The internet thieves are now flogging there wears [not how it use to be ] Eg a local in Usa can get a lot of items cheaper than an o/seas cust.

Overpriced ozzy stuff is driving the internet . Shame we cant buy Hq`sand houses from there I would Ha Ha

It's called greedy people seeing what they can get away with after some dumb-arse pays too much for something and it snowballs from there.

Each to his own, my idiot might be your hero (and vice-versa) but somebody with money who is prepared to pay way, way too much for something drives the market up unnecessarily and ends up f#cking it for everyone (except maybe those of us who already have a house or old car purchased when prices were reasonable).

But hey, it's not my money and I'm not looking to buy another old car so they can go their hardest, it's helping to increase the value of my shitbox.

    Hi
To all the greedy c...s if u keep raping everyone for any product it puts all the prices up and makes it difficult for the average person . Electricity , food etc etc House prices there a crazy joke . All these prices are driven by the big end of town rippin into the avg joe . Ave joe then has no choice but to raise his prices . In some places in Ozzy its a race to the top .
My parts purchasing I do not want to support a race team . Its easy enough to tell who by the $$ charged ..
Theres no discount in Ozzy .
Some diff places that were the most expensive quotes in ozzy are not flexible at All . With lesser parts to boot . If ur that obvious in charging me I am going elsewhere. Did for 1000$ cheaper . Rear drum would have been cheaper by far as well . Apparently its a 1000$ xtra to machine some axles for disc . Diffs are ranging from 3000$ with either used or Chinese parts to all new disc axle /tru trac .H.D case at $ 6300 . U can get a good 9 inch for around 3800$--5200$ +/- drum brake /cheaper commo disc setup.
Optional xtras empty your wallet quickly.

I will make every effort to go overseas for the next rear axle assembly .
The trans comes from overseas with many upgrades and dyno tested and long warranty + cheaper than buying here. It is built how I want it as well.

Full trans kit with upgraded hard parts and used tranny was more costly in ozzy than buying from o/seas delivered .

Gives a recent insight on how the auto seen is not// working at the moment …
Its no surprise why some would be charging as much as they do .
Parts for my engine have gone up an easy 10 % since I bought them only a year ago !!

I never said it was, it's typical human nature in which greed and stupidity both play their part.
