    Default Autogas

Anyone out there that can recommend GOOD autogas mechanic? (Parramatta / Hills area)

My car is a VX Commodore V6 with a dual fuel conversion, runs fine on petrol but misfires on gas & after a while brings on the engine light.
The engine light will go out again if I change back to petrol or stop motor & restart (Starts on petrol).

Not sure who to use to get it fixed anyone want to recommend someone or advise where to keep away from

Thanks in advance for your help & advice

Replace your ignition leads. I'd bet that its crossfiring between the leads that go to the drivers side where they pass the three leads through the front of the manifold/thermostat housing. They get hot and perish. Make sure you use good quality spiral wound leads as LPG has more resistance than petrol and tends to be harder on the ignition system. Very common problem and easy to fix. Do the plugs while you are at it. One step colder than standard.
