Its still only items above $1000 though... Keep it under 1K including freight and you should be OK.

    ummm.. no its not
Fleabay Gumtree and Amazon are collecting GST on ANY imports... as the guvmint has directed.
I got pinged $2.55 in GST today for an overseas music purchase being 10% of the purchase price
    PLUS postage

The only way to avoid this ...and get the $1000 exemption is to buy ONLY for overseas sellers
    who have not signed up

Oh...and for the record, my music purchase was available locally, cheapest i have found
was $49.99 so I still made a saving

And yes, I will never buy anything from a Hardly Normal store ever again, suck that up Gerry

Yeah, I see... Summit are doing it now so looks like I have to pay. I got some valves on order done about 4 days ago so I dont know what will happen there, GST should only be around 25-30 bux though so Im not stressing too much.

I will NEVER purchase anything from Gerry Harvey ever again...

if you ordered before the 1st of july you should be ok in saying that the australian government dictators are good at raping our arses against our will but apparently that's ok we're just men an ALL men are the enemy these days so man rape is perfectly fine so who knows

just carry and supply your own KY lube an hope they use it because next is that $5 handling per package aus post want for our "security" (cough bull f*cking sh*t cough) that tube of lube just turned into a hand full of gravel just to give the butt hole that extra sensitive an caring feeling

just remember though it's all about "us" and keeping "us" "safe" (cough bull f*cking sh*t)

Either will I. I was offered a job with them actually, but the told me about the lousy working conditions AFTER I'd applied and jumped through all their hoops (was a university graduate). I saw their motivations and very quickly lost interest and am currently pursuing a different career path lol

Just came off Summit's site Here's the breakdown,,,, parts cost $779.97 Freight $107.98 Taxes and duty {now adding Government stealing tax GST} one would expect about $90 ish, no more,,, but we now give $206.70 to those thieving crunts. These prices are USD so 779 turns into $1094.65 farkijn awesome

I'm a diick, I just realised I was over $1k Au. so I lowered the value to Us 679.98 with us 104.88 freight then Us 68.00 tax total 172.88 Usd. Still the tax is in effect, at least with Summit.

Yeah I had something around 570AUD with freight in cart so I checked and it whacked the 10% on top, now whether or not it is cheaper to buy from local dealers now is the question.. VPW, Rocket, Performance Wholesale, Precision I use sometimes anyway..
