    Thumbs up Google search AussieV8

Ok, folks i've found a good way to search for threads/posts on this site, utilising Google.

All you have to do is add a space then type what you're looking for.

    Link: site:aussiev8.com.au - Google Search

For example, below i searched for " holden 308"

Hope this helps a few people out.

good on ya for poting it up beeb.
yea its an awesome feature of google, i have been using it for years
the best thing i have found that if you are looking for something with three letters like "VS Ute" it will find them, which normally wont work with the imbedded search due to the words been so small.
    yep, works on any site

and if you want to exclude a word, just put a negative sign infront of it, like "site:www.aussiev8.com.au holden 308 -355" and it will not show anything that contains 355 on the same page.

Yeah, it works with short numbers too so you can search for threads about a certain cubic inch engine, ie. 253, 308, 351, whatever tickles your fancy. That was something i found trouble with in the inbuilt search.

I didn't know that one, that's pretty cool. Cheers Jase.

It works as long as the page or the site is indexed. If the site isn't indexed by Google it won't show up. So if the site you're using it on is doing some really bad stuff, you can't search that way. Good thing, aussiev8 is a legit site.

Oh.. That's great to find a topic for our choice. Can it works for products for all sites??
