Default 10 second VN 304 supercharged

Hi all this is my mates car which i have been tuning - its an original VN SV 150 std bottem end, std heads and rocker arms, Small crow hyd f/t cam, drop in springs, cometic head gaskets and head studs, come efi manifold, vortech v2 supercharger at 13psi, plazmaman intercooler, 6pk crank and supercharger pullies, powerbond harmonic balancer, 60lb injectors, aeromotive fuel reg, aeromotive in tank pump, craigs auto built 4l60e, 3000rpm stall with lockup, 3.7 diff gears, delco ecu, pacemaker 1 3/4 extractors, twin 2.5 into a single 3 inch exhaust, twin falcon thermo fans, alloy radiator, mickey thompson et street r tyres 255x15.
Daily driver very smooth and quiet other than the vortech whistle at idle, it gets pretty good fuel economy and has plenty power too!! Just ran a pb on wednesday a 10.78@ 127mph.

Great effort. That's moving along nicely. Gotta be wrapt, esp for a daily driver.

Just got my Hilux done, it has opened my eyes as to what can be achieved from an unopened engine even with moderate boost. Mine only has 6.5psi max yet it has more power and torque at the back wheels than a PhaseIII or a late HG GTS350. The Vortex supercharger would have given loads more power but I was after torque. Nice work on the VN.

The diff itself isn't to bad, it's the weak as factory LSD pre-load that lets it down. Easy enough to fix but then a 80 series diff will do that too.
