Default My not so new BBC HJ

Some may know of my bagged, white HQ Premier.

Well I had another bingle in may (I swear it's cursed)
And instead of immediately building it again, I opted to buy a HJ, registered and running, with a 454, th400 and 9"
The future plan of moving all running gear across to the HQ

Enjoy some pictures, I'm hoping to get to some burnout comps etc in the near future.

You need to put that running gear in the HQ after you fix it James.

I mentioned that in the little essay up top, that's certainly the plan

Looks like your car has a short water pump and that kit is for a long water pump?

    Apparently it's for short.

As you can see, alternator is no where near ever lining up.

What brand kit is it? I'm pretty sure most of the good ones don't have the v-pulley on the crank pulley for short pumps. Might be the wrong one in the box?

Nice looking car mate, I notice you added another coolant filler in your top hose, does that work well, who makes those? I just picked up a radiator with no filling point so I'm thinking of doing the same thing.
