What... more weight, more connections, more leaks, extra fuel pump? I'll think about it lol!

Run was aborted so... yeah, it lay over in first gear about 150 feet out.

The surge tank is a good idea for street driving especially if your car gets loose
sideways and you're hard on the brakes , I'll be doing a surge tank when it gets
    on the road

Can still see some factory casting in the edges and there not much taken
out of the pushrod pinch .

Harrop plenum is as cast, I'm hoping to get a cheap sss intake and port it
then back to back it at the track

A 3 litre surge tank will gravity/force feed fuel into the pump , poor old holley is trying to suck little fuel splashing around a 60 l empty tank . C'mon adrian spend some loot

Awesome night guys car went well and can go better running a tad lean but
set a new PB with a 1st run of 10.46@128.75 and followed up with a
    10.44@128.90
Still running the 288 Crane cam but dialled in advanced and still has 1 5/8 Tri y's
and twin 3in mufflers on e85 fresh from the pump
The car still hasn't got a back seat or carpet but is basically the same as any other
VK with a 8point cage and chaser rims . Also was very pleased to meet up with HPE Pete
and also got to have a run against Ian's 355 which was a buzz

Cheers Pete , I was hoping you'd have a bit more time up your sleeve also
to bounce some questions and ideas around and look things over but there's
    always next time .
Also got to chat to Tony Aguis and look his car over what a beast of a thing
that is and good bloke to talk to also .

Having a look over the data from last the brakes struggled to hold it at 3700
on the line also had a hard time pulling up from pulling up from 7250 after
running through the back door finsh line rpm was around 7000 I think ,brakes
we're a bit rusty from sitting around lol they're clean now

I'm stoked with the times , for a combo which I thought would only be low 11's
    it's killing it !

Car was on the scales with a back seat before the cage without a exhaust system
or any wiring and went 3030lbs now it has a cage , wiring and exhaust and last
night it also had 20L of fuel in it .

    Cheers guys

Well done Nik, that's impressive considering the peashooter pipes fitted.

Starting to get a handle on the corn juice obviously

If I may: How much advance on the cam?

Yeah ! those small 1 5/8 pipes are earning their keep and it seems to love the
E85 which is over the 90% mark again . I did some carb calibration changes more
or less set it up like the factory Quickfuel ones it was a little lean but nothing to
be too worried about . The 288 cam is running on its 2 adv and also played with
the Spring pressures aswell so that's about it really .
Eh179 you should come up one night for some close racing ,highly recommended!

On the 10.44 run I launched from 3600rpm and the shift was at 6900rpm
here is the log from that run , I'm new to all this stuff even though the plugs
look okay I still like stuffing around with these toys
