Jack Brothers machined the block, balanced and assembled the crank, pistons ect with Scat Crank, Scat H beams (probably should've just used I beams) CP Bullet Forged Flat top pistons.

Pete ported the heads, fitted bigger valves, springs ect...basically a complete package.....One day ill get my manifold in for some grinder work.

Then I pretty much bolted it all together, dropped it into the car, wired it all up and fired it up.

Yeah it looks tidy in the pics but the paint is shot and some rust bubbles showinng up in the base of the doors...needs to be pulled apart, stripped down to a bbare roller and repainted.
One day ill pull it off the road for 6mths and do it but i need a biggger work space....and convince the mrs i need to do it.

Fitted up a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter as my last trip to the track was full of gear changing mishaps.
Made a drop box to retain the factory console...you may have seen it in another thread.

Went for a quick spin this arvo to test it out.
All linkage adjustments are spot on.

Its definitely something to get used to compared to the factory Tbar as you cant see what gear its in and it has two movements in the Park position due to the throw of the selector for the Th350...but otherwise pretty good

it also seems to absorb a fair bit of heat through the box and up onto the shift stick.
Does anyone have any ideas on insulating the box externally??

My shifter used to get hot also. I never did anything about it to be honest.

What you mean it's got 2x Park functions?

    Should be

With the high rise single plane and 750 carb (no spacer) plus a 2 inch filter i have about 5mm of clearance.
Ideally id prefer a 4 inch reverse cowl to get a 1-2inch spacer and a 2-3inch filter but this will suffice for the moment

    It is PRND21
Its strange...with the gear selector shaft coming out of the box, the distance of throw from the center of park to the center of reverse equates to 2 shifts of the ratchet. There is lock out pins that go into the shifter to make a 3spd and also a pin for the park as other gear boxes eg ford, chrysler Have a shorter park to reverse throw compared to a TH350.
I followed the instructions word for word...
