Thanks ynot8. As a machinist I make a good mechanic lol but I seem to be able to make things that look alright with a bit of a polish.

This is a cap I made for my brake master cylinder and for something different I thought I'd throw a couple of pics it as I was making it.

This after I started roughing out the inside of the cap, shows the real standard of my machining lol

This is machining the radius on the end of the cap.

This is the cap semi-finished and nearly ready for polishing.

And finally finished and fitted to the car.

Awesome work mate. Have you got a mill at home or do you do it at work?

Looks the goods. How handy is it when you can do stuff yourself instead of farming it out hoping you get back what you want. Well done..

I got them from Rocket Industries in Sydney, 15 x 7 with 4" backspace on the front and 15 x 8 with 4-1/2" back space.

Tas Performance at Moonah deal with Rocket they might be able to help you out if you want to buy locally.

I made my own set up using a B&M cable , there's some pics here http://gallery.oldholden.com/hq308be.../Column+Shift/

There's also a factory linkage setup you can get but depending on your exhaust setup http://gallery.oldholden.com/hq308be...lumn+Shift/you may have clearance issues, that's the main reason I did my own setup. The factory setup is hard to find too.
