hey there monaroman76, wondering how you got on in relation o you deck clearance issue.i am currently doing the same build with a scat crank/chev length rods and hypertec 383 chev pistons combo and I too have a deck issue of 7 thou.have been told by the engineer that it isn't a problem but its my first engine build and I get plenty of conflicting information from different people.i appreciate any info you can provide.
