    Default Demerit point sharing

I was pulled over for speeding by an officer, and was wondering if its possible for someone else to take the demerit points. Can only have the demerit points since i was witnessed by the officer who pulled me over

You were speeding and got caught, suck it up.....and next time don't speed if you ain't willing to accept the consequences

If it would have been a speed or red light camera then your parents could say they were driving and take the points, illegally ... Technically a big no no, could do some time inside if you get caught.

But, if the cop pulled you over and recorded your licence details you are pretty much f-cked.

Speeding in a Hyundai.. tell the officer he must have got it wrong. LOL if the cop pulled you over then the fine is yours, ya parents can't take the points. Stick to the speed limit in the future, although I once got fined myself for someone else speeding in a car that overtook me, but to take the day off work to go to court was going to be more expensive and costly as I would have lost a days work for a 127 dollar fine. I just paid it, reluctantly as I wasn't actually the one speeding and the camera had taken the photo and the actual speeding car was in the picture, I reckon they just double dipped and sent us both the fine, the other guy probably fought it and got off. But I would have lost $240 worth of pay from my job. So sometimes they do get it wrong but I had all my points anyway.
