Default Thermo fans vs intake piping..

Any input of either thinner thermo fans recommendations or creative intake pipe paths guys? All that's left to do is pony tail the loom and connect the intercooler to the throttle body and I am running out of room badly!

Might be the pic, but looks like the alt needs to be moved forward to better align the belt.

    Hi
    Need more info

What fans are fitted now ?? Falcon ??

    Davies Craig HP14 1500cfm each
    Spal 11 inch 1250 cfm
    Spal 12 inch
    Maradyne

Need at least 2600 cfm . SOME skinny fans will not perform .
Need core size Height and width??

There are 3 ways to shroud a radiator
1/ Integral plastic shroud --fans moulded into shroud

2/ Fans mounted to flat plate thats mounted on core with only 3-6mm clearance . Line with skinny strip of foam on plate to protect core . Fans only flow air for there size because they are mounted close . The plate should be cut not to cover complete core --only 30-40mm wide strips to mount fans .

3/ Fan shroud at least 25mm thick fans mount to this . Air is pulled across 100% of core . May need high speed air flow flaps .

Thanks for the input Swampy, currently they are mondeo fans. I think for space reasons option 2 may be the go..

It's not ideal but a big single fan like a SPAL fitted in front of the radiator may work if there is enough room between the radiator and the IC core but regardless with that intake manifold and the forward facing TB the turn into the TB is always going to be nasty. The turbo kit looks nice though.

Maybe fg single or keep mondeo...iirc they're only ones clear vb-h tie bar & lower hose for radiator?

lowe fab or bliss custom low mount alternator bracket.

90 degree silicon elbow, straight pipe then another 90 degree turn to go through hole above rail or tuck straight down beside radiator & under chasis rail...piping would need to be on small side.

Pulling radiator further forward & thinner throttlebody spacer plate for might give clearance needed.

Yeah it's going to be a tight turn regardless of fans etc with the throttle body set up but no matter the manifold I use its the distance between the radiator and the motor that has me stumped.
Unfortunately the top half of the radiator has plenty of room in front of it but the bottom half has barely 20mm between the radiator and the intercooler.

I'm contemplating having 2x small thermo fans and running the intake pipe directly down between them.

A big single offset to one side behind the radiator then.

Single fan may work.. Good idea, currently the radiator is all the way forward, I don't really want to ditch the throttle body spacer as that's how inject the meth etc.
I'll mock up your idea and see what works.

Yeah, I'm going to start measuring all the options I can think of and see what works.
Even 4 tiny fans may work.?

Smaller fans move much less air. The Spal fans are fairly slim and move a lot of air but not cheap.

Yeah I just looked it up and fans under 12 inch do stuff all!

Currently I'm hoping to be able to use this fan ofset all the way as low and as far to the passenger side as possible.

    https://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/...gh-performance

Then I should have enough room to fit the intake pipe between the fans edge and the radiator outlet for a vertical drop down.

I thought this was a supercharger build till I saw it. Are you going to be psi restricted? Why run the meth? Is the intercooler tube & fin or bar n plate? If you take that spacer out it should be fine. Its looks good, why did you go with external gate?

Hey mate, it was supercharged until recently..

I've got a cheapie Tube and fin cooler.
    Meth is for anti knock.
    Spacer is for the meth.
External gate just opens up more options for turbos and boost control.
