Just noticed these are now available from Aeroflow,

Look reasonably priced and comes with bolts, waterpump gasket and adjustable timing pointer.

Their hose fittings are rubbish and can only be considered as a one use item

What advantage does that money buy?

It looks purdy, I'll give it that.

Looks nice, and would look good in a blinged up engine bay, but I prefer the original Holden timing covers.

Lots of cleaning to keep it blingy, no thanks.

Adjustable timing pointer not always an advantage, either.

I'm only thinking as a replacement should there be a problem with the original one which is coming off shortly for a clean and paint when I do a new timing chain and oiling system mod.

Just under $500 AUD is some serious money... Better off having a stock one ceramic coated IMO. Can even purchase covers already done for $220.

I've got one of their 1/8-27 NPT male to female extension fittings - works a charm, and their t-shirts are good quality cotton and prints too lol

    Hi
geez spending over double that of a KC unit wow . Must make it go fast !!!! Might work if u want/have all the bling bling to go with it .

Yes u can make the cover easy to clean but its called ceramacoat [ aluminium specialised clear ] very costly!!
The better quality alloy parts have it already done !!

A few years ago I heard that the KC timing covers were having issues with quality. If they are OK then it's certainly an option.

I painted the stock one... Same deal as the rocker covers for the VN heads, why go aftermarket when the stock ones look awesome...

If you insist on a billet cover, the Bullet timing cover is MUCH nicer IMO
