Default HQ proportion valve direction clarification

I have a HQ proportion valve. The one that sits half way along the chassis. I want to clarify that the larger diameter with the large nut goes towards the rear of the car. Am I right. Please only reply if you know for sure I don't want to start a shit storm like another thread on here. TIA.

    HI
If the system was not flushed regular the proportioning typically gets full of all the debris and does not do its job well. A brake place can unseize it and install an ohaul kit thru it. Some times u need another used one for hard parts that canbe damaged when dissassebling.
    Should cost under 30$.

?? No disrespect Swampy but I'm a bit bamboozled by your response? It has nothing to do with my question. I'm asking the direction details of the proportion valve. Nothing in my question is asked about rebuilding a proportion valve??
