Default HQ, PACEMAKERS, HE Sump & VN Heads

Has anyone else's had clearance issues fitting a high energy sump to a HQ - WB with VN heads and pacemaker try Y's ?

My HE sump is about 1/2" too wide at base on the drivers side.

I'm probably going to call ASR tomorrow to talk about it and possibly order one through them. Just thought I'd put it out here first to see what other people have done.

I had this problem with an ASR sump. Turned out I had the wrong (commodore) headers. New headers & all fixed.

    Yep.

Heat the pipe and flatten it out. I once said I would never buy another set of pacemakers, I should've listened.

Strange i got the 1 3/4 version and fitted fine but since endeavored to build my own sump.
