    Default 383 25k+ build dead within 1500k.. don't use H beam

I can laugh about it now. There were some dark times around xmas tho. Engine was built years ago vn block
599 hp on dyno bloody stoked. Went better than I could ever have imagined. Started dripping oil from all fittings .then it was discovered rear seal had shrunk while on engine stand. Took it to tuner to get it done. They removed sump to find crank had hit baffles and pickup in sump and the grout was leaking water. Had several opinions all gave same answer motor is ****ed. Engine builder washed his hands of it .
Have ordered a torquepower little paw block & 230cc alloy heads & crankshaftrebuilders custom crank 443ci
Moral of the story shit happens build it again bigger better and stronger.

Rear main oil leaks prevent rust !

Chemiweld or similar will fix the leaks past the grout.

Been told not to take block all the to 443ci because there will be nothing left to work with if it has issues . Downgrade 427ci .

Sounds like the sump and pickup didn't clear the crank and rods. Did Murray fit the sump? Nothing wrong with h-beams...if they clear.
Should still be salvageable if it still goes hard.
Big $ new engine sounds all good though. For what it's worth our Central Muscle car guys seem to keep them around 410ci. Probably for a reason?

Wont fill the block reckons he not that type of mechanic. Car doesn't have oil pressure gauge just plug for laptop. I have ok mechanical skills and some tools . So I'm pulling motor apart myself . So far I've found nothing broken . Got a guy wants to buy my internals

Nothing bad could possibly come from this course of action.

Have faith boys . Wow only allen keys , spanners and socket needed. Marker and tape.
Only pulling intake and heads off. Tho been 8 throttle the linkages were tricky to remove . Even pulled loomback to firewall . Lots of tape with numbers and letters.
Bloody sore knees leaning on guards
