Going to copy struggler's idea with adding breather 1" pipe to f/pump blockoff plate on mine...cheap & easiest way but would love to have 2 more on manifold.

Don't forget bridge 2 rear rear waterways.

Forced induction makes a lot of power with little effort, worthy of consideration...

i'm just going to run 2 off the sump, just in front of the engine mounts, and theres a couple already fitted to the rocker covers.
easy to do, while the sump's off.
original was gunna sell vortech, and run rear mount turbo ( i scored a 2nd hand bus one) but paul355 talked me into the vortech, and he's knows them well

been a bit quite in the shed, got another Rotty, and been busy picking up dogsh1t
have found that the blower bracket is twisted, because the starr manifold has the large throttle body, the previous owner has "slimmed" it down and weakened it.
so i'll straighten it, and beef it up a bit.

I loved reading car features in magazines where the owner would say "it has XYZ camshaft of secret specs" if it was me I'd say it has this, that and the other specs and if you want to copy me let's see if you can make it work

i really need the get mine reground, 3800 stall and 5800 redline, its ALOT off tap.
have too extract digit, and get into it, just got a lot happening, all at once, typical. if it's got wheels or boobs, it will give you trouble........................................... .......................

I was using camshafts as an example as they seem to be the "mystery" horsepower makers. By the way I just thought I'd show you how my year is going 2 pics are worth more than a thousand words

Agreed I'm using camshaft as example as in mags that always seem to be the "mystery" item as if that's the sole source of [url=http://s1178.photobucket.com/user/stuli/media/10422048_1041855682538688_6558978141354129914_

had an episode, like that too, p-plater, ran into the back of us, nearly 4 mths to get payment. our gumbermant is f#@ked, worse than my spelling.
totally not our fault, our car off the road, for a 3rd of the year. who pays? all of us.

Yes I'm not trying to change the subject but that's how my year has been going along with an engine failure in my Kia wheelchair taxi to cap it all off. So playing with my toys has been put way down the pecking order.
My point was with my last comment is some "elcheapo" combo's go so hard because of attention to detail. Because someone has a fat wallet it doesn't mean they'll have a fast car.

tokes- daves vn is a ripper, good fuel economy, good manners, perfect street car.
paul355 has spent a fair bit of time on the tune, and for what it owes dave, it's just a really good package.
