Default Unusual marks on solid lifters

I've started stripping down my standard stroke 304 to replace a rear main seal and do some more thorough mods to the oiling system, pulled the lifters out inspecting as I went, engine has done about 15-20000 kms, some long distance and does mid 12s in a manual vn wagon.the lifters all look fine except for the intake and exhaust on cylinder number 7. Is that wear pattern ok?the pic of the clean one is what all the others look like.there is no pitting or signs of lack of lubricant on any of them, just that shadow kinda pattern on those two...

When it was assembled last, did you check that all lifters rotated when turning engine over by hand?

Can't say I did, pushrods rotate nicely I know that much,a small mark around the circumference of the rod from the guide plate.cam lobes all look the same,I'll put pics up tomorrow after work, used a set of verniers as a go/no go gauge just out out interest and found no difference in the lobe hights across the cam... I'm just a bit nervy because the last cam ate a few lobes and the crank after bad break in procedure and I actually had a bit of trouble starting the motor with this cam due to a dodgy coil wire!

I'll say they don't look good. They should be shiny with faint circles from rotating. Much like all the rest of your lifters probably look like. All the lifters should look the same.

IMG_0150[1].jpgIMG_0151[1].jpgIMG_0152[1].jpg well heres a few pics of the cam lobes, the end pair are the ones that have different lifter patterns(closest to the dizzy drive gear)kinda inconclusive really to my untrained eye!

What engine oil are you using and also, what are your spring pressures mate?

It could be the camera flash, but to me it looks like No 8 lobes are very shiny on the nose.
