About $350 less if you know where to get them!

The cranes are good, real good, but the price is pretty damn serious.
I'm not on here much any more - don't bother PM'ing me, chances are I won't read it, just call me on 08 8376 9540 if you need to get hold of me or email knight28@optusnet.com.au, phone is better!

I don't suppose you are prepared to share the dimensions for those 12 deg bushes? I too would like to run a little less mechanical & a bit more initial timing.....

    Many thanks in advance

Can't remember sorry, I worked it out on a scrap of paper which could be anywhere.

Picking up collector extensions for this this arvo - takes the collectors from 13.75" up to 34", I'd prefer 17" collectors, but that would make the extensions only 3.25" long - too short to fit the dyno exhaust, so next best length is 34".

Ok fair enough. So did you just use the existing diameters of the original msd stops & estimate a given increase in diameter as a given deg change? Just trying to work out how you calculated it.....

Yep, measured them all, compared to MSD chart & worked out dimensions from there - it needs to be sorta egg shaped to fit in the slot.

Awesome thanks, that was my plan. Just wanted to confirm what you did, instead of reinventing the wheel.

Round bush is fine if you open up the window in the advance mech assembly a little, 5 mins to get the shaft out of the dizzy and 5 mins in the mill.

Thanks Mick, any particular material to be used for bush? SS or 4130, or just normal mild steel?

Anything that's not too soft should be fine, I used 4140 then did black oxide on it to resist rusting, stainless would be great if its a harder grade. Size wise, I did the same as TK with a quick back of the envelope calc, and its long gone...
