What model commodore mate??? i thought you still needed to cut a hole in the bonnet with the strip master??

VK Commodore, going off a pic TK put up a while back showing height between Stripmaster and TP single plane which showed about an inch difference in height.

TP just fitted with a 2" filter and Moroso dropbase but no doubt hurt power if the Stripmaster is an inch lower I should be able to run the proper 3" filter on the Moroso base.

Dunno how you got that to fit. Same bonnet here, TP single, 1" spacer, 3" filter with drop base, no fit with hole and A9X scoop. Just sneaks in with 1/2" spacer.

    Umm.. a work in progress
A blown head gasket and a trans rebuild in the last 3 months puts the handbrake on a few notches.

sorting out the ex port as best i can required different valve seat geometry to what we normally use along with further chamber work and tried some different valve shapes......it would be easier to describe this if you could hear the sound it makes on the bench......9 flow tests later the shape of the curve is improved along with a smother sounding port up to .550 lift.

intake mocked up with heads to check port match as this has been ground previously......the scribed lines are where the port locations are.....these are considered small details to some but this is why some engines make power and others dont
