What would change on this set up if it was done to suit e85 and a roller camshaft? If some one could point me in the right direction. Part numbers/names would be great thanks

I know this is an old thread, but if this engine was fitted with a 700 carb instead of the 750, how much HP and torque would the 700 carb hold it back? Thanks

hi guys, just read through this thread very informative, i am just about to get back into building up an lx torana for the road on sundays. had it for 20 years been put off the road , dragged a bit then forgotten, time to get back in to it. Already have a 355 kit in a hp 308 block. alloy heads tri y's, tp dual plane manifold, main girdle, roller rockers, so prob go a 244/248 solid as not looking for a screamer just stout performance in a reasonable rev range on the highway. Or the lights. would i need to go 750 dp or would a vac secondary be better for cruising? oh its 5 speed manual with 3.5 9"

Awesome post, thanks for all the info. I noticed most of the scat stroker kits come with H beams rather than I beams. Anyone know of any selling with Ibeams? Cheers

Was just wondering if this cam would be suitable for this combo, a little larger than the one posted. I have a crane cam, however after doing a little reading it probably isnt what I am looking for

Nope it's the same cam in this very recipe from TK. I have it in my 355. Made 436whp (single plane intake, manual g.box) @ 6200. Power curve goes flat through to 7000.
    It's pretty good.
