    Hi guys,

i have read on hear about people recomending the 4pin burgwarner center for salisbury diffs.

Can anyone give me some of there experiences with these centers? whats involved in putting them in?

They are a bunch of clowns do not buy a single thing of the bodgey pricks .Try having two broken axles and two stuffed centers out of a 9 inch how you stuff that up is beyond me and when the phone calls were made they did not want to know about untill consumer affairs was bought into the picture there workmanship is down right dangerous do some research and you will find plenty of storys out there.

I've often heard similar stories. I wonder if the actual conversion center is of a good enough quality where if you just bought it and got it checked over and installed by someone a bit more capable, would it be ok?

Ive always used Keysborough Diffs - not the cheapest around but ive never had a problem with the last 2 x 9 inch into commodore conversions.

It's amazing how often "big names" don't deserve the reputation that goes with the name.

Two people i know were burned by a well known diff shop in Sydney. Both through majorly blown-out quotes and unauthorised work. One of my mates just turned up and said "gimme the diff now", they refused, so he and a friend strolled in, picked it up and left.

Shame it comes to that though.

    I agree 100% - i mean building a diff center isn't rocket science !
At least with keysy diffs they gave me a price and a pick up the next day time frame - cant ask for better than that !

State, I am getting this set up done for my hj at the moment by AD Diffs in Calcutta after the recommendations from a few forum members. Aldo there at AD has been pretty good so far, but the Salsbury was only dropped off on Friday. Quoted me $1500 for complete 4 pinion conversion with borg gears.

    Hope this helps
    Rob
