Default HQ Park/Neutral Inhibitor switch replacement

    Hi
Can anyone tell me how to remove the neutral inhibitor switch on a HQ. I have recently bought one on ebay and am not sure as to how many under dash parts I need to remove.
    Thank you

I assume you have a column shift ?

If so you don't need to remove any dash parts, if I remember correctly the inhibitor switch is on the floor at the base of the column.

Column switch? Two bolts hold it to the top of the steering column, right near the firewall. You'll probably have to remove the panel below the steering wheel to get to it easily.

    Hi
    Thanks for the replys.

I thought it would be located behind the PRND21 indicator instead of near the firewall. I will check it out and come back.

    Thanks
