I can recommend Joe. I got a mail order tune from him for my hillclimb VN, I had never dealt with him and I was rushed for time. Gave him the engine specs and he did me a tune that night and express posted it to me. I haven't even bothered to get a retune done as it was so good. Put it on the dyno the day before I raced just to make sure it would be OK. Light throttle cruise was a little rich (No problems as it only gets driven 7km to the track). But the wide open throttle AFR was spot on, it ran about 12.7 to 12.9 from 2500rpm to 6200rpm

    Cars are never finished lol.
Thanks for the feed back guys appreciate it.
Mail orders are generally close as long as I get the correct info
and there are no issues with the car.
I always recommend to live tune a car but sometimes its not an option
due to location or lack of workshop so its the next best thing
and I also can make adjustments free providing I get a dyno sheet logging rpm and afr's.
Btw if you cant get a hold of me keep trying im busy between jobs and family
and don't always have time to call back either
The LS1 and Ls tunes I do are very good also and have been getting good
results at wsid in my own vx ss L98 6 litre running a best of 11.2 N/A cam only
    and a few 11.3s.
I can tune the LS engine just as good if not better than the holden 304,355s.
If anyone wants a tune you can call, email or even just message me on fb.

Ill also vouch for Joe's work... I have used a couple of his mail order stock motor tunes in my VR BT1 and my HZ ute with VN 304, and both were great. Made good power but extremelydrivable. Then used a mail order tune for a 284 cam setup in my HZ, and once again was spot on the money.

Have just got him to do a real-time tuneable delco ECU so my tuner here in SA can tune my now supercharged BT1, and joes service was second to none.

Hard to try find time these days.
Looking forward to racing soon though.
VX is going good haven't really touched it for a while just
    the usual maintenance really.
I thought id update people on what's going on atm.
As some know I had been using prestige auto st marys dyno and
was also working there due and to circumstances outside my control I no longer
work there and have nothing to do with the company anymore and the shop is now closed and no longer.
I wont get into the why just where I am now is 100% a real performance shop and
all the guys there are enthusiasts like myself.
I now work at a great shop Advan Performance in auburn.
While they look after BMWs mainly and other hi end cars we are
also doing work on commodores, fords and most cars.
They have 4wd Dyno Dynamics dyno and engine building room.
Also we have an engine/machine shop right next door!
If anyone needs performance work come and see us we will look after you.
We do have scan tools and I have hp tuners and efi live and looking to
tune other makes and models in the future.
Check out their website and fb page https://www.advanperformanceeuro.com.au/

Every car owner should very well know that not all parts of his car will last forever. Though not all of it are consumables, most parts of it will have to be replaced at some point. So if that time comes when a part of your car is broken or worn out and needs to be replaced, one decision needs to be made. Or simply, you’re gonna have to answer the question: What kind of car part are you going to buy?
