308 will require large radiator 3 core with viscous hub fan and shroud .
Disc brakes front with booster and disc master cylinder and disc drum proportioning valve.
    V8 front springs

So first of all you need to know of you have a "turbo or trimatic" block, if turbo you can source a T5 & bell housing direct from a later V8 commodore and bolt it in, however if its trimatic you will need to source an aftermarket bell housing from Dellows or a Rodshop. Rear x member will need to be modified to suit the T5 mount. Driveshaft needs to have the T5 yoke machined & welded onto the HQ 1 piece shaft the rebalanced, speedo requires a T5 to HQ cable (again from the likes of Dellows) & the correct coloured gear to get your speedo right (diff-tyre size), reverse lights are simple just lengthen the loom & plug on to the T5 reverse switch.

I have done a conversion using a CRS bellhousing and cross member. Use a Falcon 6 cylinder box - EL to AU. This puts the shifter in the same place in the console as stock. If you don't need a new pressure plate buy the chutch only from CRS as the Falcon clutches that I could find come with pressure plates - CRS have them on there own. CRS also do the speedo cables to adapt from Falcon box to Holden speedo. The speedo gears are still available from Ford as a spare part and that is cheaper than Rare Spares. Also replace the shifter spigot bush before you install the box as usually they are flogged out. You have to cut out a small section of the floor. As above the driveshaft needs to be cut down in length and the T5 yoke added. Reverse wires fit without lengthening on mine.
