    Arrow Vk

Okay Laddies and Gents i have a Vk commodore and just purchased a Vy SS as an impulse purchase as a heart and brake transfer, just wondering if that was a smart move and if its possible as I'm looking to work the Ls1 and wondering if the brake set up will pull up okay?

I would think the brake package would work pretty good as the VK would be lighter that the VY. How much of the brake system are you looking to use?

The engine will fit, you just need the mounts and exhaust

As far as the brakes are concerned, VK std brakes will not cut it with an LS in the engine bay.
The front VY SS rotors will need a "hub" to fit onto the VK spindle.
Brake hoses are different as the pipe fitting located on the VK strut is different than that of the VY (dual flare vrs single flare).
Master cylinder required is a VT fast fill style with a VS plastic booster (and a few mods) plenty on the inter web regarding this upgrade.
Rear brakes wont carry across, just upgrade to a VK-VS disc set up (rear wheel bearings & spacers need changing if you have a drum rear end) just find a good set of pads.
Most other upgrades need a minimum of a 16" rim.
