Thanks mate. I have. They are only really interested in selling me one of their kits. Man on the phone was happy to chat..but that was the result he came to. Won't split up their kits for peices etc..

HI
There are other brake conversion kit suppliers also I have found from this site .
I do no the Torana guys do a lot of brake conversions to fit HQ discs. What the impression is from them that a quality kit can avoid clearance issues eg steering suspension etc

Look into a Hub and Hat, use the Hat from VT, 298mm Dia? and a Hub in HQ pattern.
The VT Pattern is metric but the stud hole clearance will still let the disc go straight on.
The Commodore disc is a deeper than HQ so the Hub and Hat will push the wheel track outward, on my Torana I think it was 6-8mm per side.
I'm using UPC Hubs and DBA Rotors. I'm sure recently there's been talk of old mate (Tony?) at UPC not being much interested in things.
Hoppers will only supply kits, and small parts, but no major components.

Maybe the Rod Shop, and ask them if they can do you a set in HQ pattern rather than Commodore.

Rod Shop would only sell me a kit.
I will take your advice and try and keep on it. Thing is i have rebuilt calipers. Should hope fully be able to source the rest.. I am not interested in buying a full kit. If i have no luck, then so be it
