Engine can drop in with these 2 piece Genie extractors already bolted to the heads! I did ask a question as to whether anyone knew in another post, but the answer was kinda no. But I tried anyway as I didn't want to struggle and chip paint squeezing them in after the engine was in.

    Engine is in and running.
Primed carby with fuel, primed up oil galleries, it fired up first go and ran the cam in for ~20 minutes. Kept engine temp down with a big fan to help blow a bit of fresh air over the engine and radiator. No leaks, no bad noises, so all is good!

I've got some issues with the quaddy now not wanting to idle properly and smells rich as F. I think because of the bigger cam she wants to suck more air at idle and I had to crack open the idle screw a fair bit, so now it's mucked up the idle air bypass etc. It's really bad, it will idle, but with any load put on it it will die - like turning the AC on it will stop the engine. It rev's out and pulls pretty good to 6000, but got to sort the idle out, then get it on a dyno to finish of the WOT jetting etc.
If anyone in Melb south east suburbs has experience with some basic tweaks and has done the drilling before, I'd be happy to pay a bit of cash for a hand

I've read up lots of threads about drilling idle air and mixture screw fuel feeds, but got to try and piece all the info together
