    Default Competition engines Yannis crt Melbourne closing down ????

    Hi
    does any body know???
    They are not answering the phone Thur and Fri 10/8/17 and 11/8/17 , rang 30Times

    They were there earlier in the week .


    Where are they ???
    Anybody been there thurs and fri ???

    I am there quite often, was there a few times this week.
    Definitely not closing down.

    Were u there Thursday or Friday ,as I said they are not answering the phone . Phone goes to message service .. Are u going there this week ???

    Is the workshop next to them part of the same business I assume so . Rang them there away till the 20th this mth !!

    Yeah I will probably be there this week. Peter rang me on Thursday or Friday about a trans.
    They have a few factories in that complex but the workshops either side are separate.

    thanks ,tends to make u nervous when they have a deposit of mine . There communication has only been average . This has caused me concern almost to the point of reconsidering arrangement .
    Hq 368 Do u have another ph No for them .??

    Would make one wonder how difficult communication would be should a problem arise.

    HI

    Finally answered phone after a dozen message banks over 2hrs ggrrrrrrrr.....
    Lets just say it was an emergency at the shop ,apparently on Friday [possibly] ??????
    I will reserve my opinion and explain all, once I have ""finished"" dealing with them .

    Yea read there disclaimers apparently no warranty !!!!. Buyer beware !!! This is Aust with consumer laws doh !.
    Warranty Hmmmm..... Communication Hmmmmmm.......

    Nth Qld to Melbourne,,,, That is a long way to sort any issues out. Most all if not all racing stuff is warrentyless,,, But there should be some moral ground in these dealings too... Having said that there are a lot of customers that really have no clue & this is a recipe for disaster, imo

    I do expect manufacturing faults to be covered .

    Faults resulting from poor build by customer as u would expect is not covered .
    Very much a grey area
    As we all no some times the retailer just flat out blames the customer unfortunately .
    The sad part is the owner has to always prove his side.

    I had a Ford dealer blame the Ryco diesel filter for the running issues . YA kidd`n The injectors were stuffed Doh !!!!

    There is little enforced customer protection in this country
