Then I give them a clean up with the die grinder to get them closer to the fit I wanted.

Welded on some mounting points for the lights to screw to.

Yes good job. Those LED strips look great in a finished panel.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

When I first got the LED's I was just going to screw them to the outside of the panel. But in the end I thought it would be time well spent if I could get them flush mounted, I think it was worth the extra effort.

HK1837 reckons it's a ute or van chassis manufactured at the Pagewood plant.

When I brought it, it was registered as a one tonner.

I'm sure if you give HK1837 your chassis number he would be able to explain for you.

Nice looking tonner VESS, what are those mirrors you have? I've been tossing up for awhile about what mirrors I should go for. In the beginning I was going for the original GTS mirrors, but everyone has them. ATM I'm leaning towards a 69 Camaro rectangular style mirror.

Gday HZ350 my wheelbase is definitely 114.

I always have liked the WB Statesman mirrors but havn't really taken any notice of the run of the mill WB mirrors, will have to check them out.

Flush mounted tail lights look great. Nice job.
I have WB stato power mirrors on my old girl and love the convenience of control from the drivers seat. As a daily driver i would never go back to manual mirrors. Is one change i have planned for them though. Need to make up some spacers to go between door and mirror to move them out a little and give better sight line past backboard on tray.

Your right when you have a normal backboard most mirrors are next to useless.
