FYI. If you ever want to tow a car with an A frame, make sure it has toe in on the steering. Not sure if it was always toe out or just because the load of the motor was not in there, bit it had 5mm of toe out. Adjusted to 5mm toe in and it towed straight the whole way to work. Spray time soon. Woohoo

Got the car sanded and masked yesterday ready for paint today.

Test fit into my homemade booth

Still had some more to add to the booth to enclose it

Ok so looking two tone cars being painted on you tube, they all start with the blackout parts and then the main colour. I would have thought the black would be best done last. I should have followed my instincts as trying to get the colour to cover the black was a mission.
So anyway. Here are the blackouts done (sorry, I am going to spam you with pics).

    Then smash on the green

    Then clear coat

And this is my favourite bit. This is my reflection in the sills. I think they are the best part.
So I had some dramas. It's a mission painting a complete car in a day. Got a few runs and bits where my fine line tape came unstuck so there is some green on the black. I might try airbrush that out later. Otherwise not bad for my first try.

Cheers. First time painting like that and it was knackering. I have a new respect for panel beaters and spray painters. Haha
