    hi
Put a screw driver in plug hole and feel the No1 piston rock backwards and forth to verify TDC markings. Gives u a confirmed zero point .
Next rev the engine and watch the mark advance . Approx distance will give u a good idea of advancement . As mention advance is best done with a wind back timing light .

I put the new dizzy in, which fixed the vacuum leak and advance.

I have pit the carby back to the original 31 nozzle and orange cam, still need to test drive it and I'll go from there.

The 10.5 power valve got delivered, but don't know if I should put that in or not
