That cam is like a version of the old Crane one with the same specs 204/214 112LSA... Now, in trucks, stock engines yes we have used it but its not for anything performance basically up a notch from stock..

Depends on what has been done to your 273 ..

I had one in a Hallet ski boat with a small block for a few years, it was a Crane cam at the time but was also a copy of something else back then, late 80's early 90's.
Would have been lucky to make 1 horsepower per cube but perfectly fine for dragging around a couple of skiers as a social boat.

G’day guys thanks for thé info.
    Not too much done.
Complete rebuild, sleeved the bores, slight port and clean of the bowls.
Running a four speed to 3.7 géars
    4 barrel with 650dp.
Was hoping when dyno tuned to acheive around 250hp.

You wont get that with the 18666, be lucky to make 200 at the tyres IMO

I have one in my 308 and its nothing special but a real stump puller compared to a stocker and revs out a little better. Great for driveability but not so much for outright power.

You can buy different cams for these, or have you already bought this?
