No we probably wont, with the death of car production here in Australia we might see the US Camaros and Corvettes brought in to compete with the Ford Mustang though.

We are definitely getting the Camaro, it is via HSV so not through Holden. Conversion by Walkinshaw like the Doge Ram trucks. Word has it Holden will sell the Corvette as a RHD, and the next gen Camaro may possibly be built RHD in the US thus sold through Holden. Neither will compete with the Mustang though, both will be a far higher price car and aimed at a different market.

Being they are all V8 muscle cars I would expect them to do quite well in a market where Holden has said no more V8 sedans.

3000 Demons built for usa. 300 built for Canada.
    No other exports.

They are like 95k usd i think. So a good 150k+ around this side of the world.

Corvette I can see as a higher end deal, I cant see why they wouldnt have the Camaro in the same price range as the Mustang, if that isnt the same market I dont know what is. One vehicle is targeted for wankers the other for those who appreciate power, technological advancement, and aesthetics I will leave it to you guys to guess which car is for what demographic.

Bring one of those demons, hellcats etc and the cops would be able to defect brand new unmodified cars.

IF Holden import a factory RH drive Camaro from the US and sell it at a much higher price than the Mustang it competes with directly in the US than they are screwing over their customer base.

I'd take the Camaro over the Corvette any day, performance wise there isn't much between the 2 these days.

The Camaro as released in the USA is around $60K in LHD only, so competitive with the Mustang.
NO rhd Camaro's will be made for export, meaning they will be converted here, adding ~ 30k to the price tag.

Ford could do it with the Mustangs and I'm seeing more and more of these locally. Then they'll get the Corvette put some HSV plastic crap on it it, run through the tune on HPtuners and add $60K to the price.

Current generation Camaro is LHD drive only. Word is the next generation will be both LH/RH drive from the factory.

From what I have read HSV are doing the RH drive conversion only but no other work.

We have new Camaro's, Mustangs and even the odd Charger getting around here in my area. I'd be fine with a LH drive model.

Yeah but the government here wouldnt allow LHD on a new car most likely... Ah well at least we're getting the new Chinadore with V6 only option, I predict great success...
