    Hi Steve,
I don't have an answer for you and would probably be too late if I did, but I thought I'd say hi anyway. I'm in the UK and not a million miles away (North Wales) and just got my car. Nice to know there's another Aussie Mopar in the area!

    Hey Steve,
Just dragged a vc safari wagon out of an old garage. It's been off the road for a good few years so it's getting some love now. Here's a pic from when I picked it up:

Is yours on the road and driveable?

Hi Tom I've had my valiant 7 years now it's painted like a NASCAR so gets plenty of attention it had a 273 v8 but I managed to destroy that on the way back from a show it starved the engine of oil due to the poor design as it had a oil filter bolted to the top of the engine with tiny pipes supplying the oil so it now has a 318 v8 out of a challenger with a remote oil filter bolted on the inner wing with nice wide diameter pipes so no more oil starvation plus it's a lot quicker now

Very cool. Have you got a picture? I can see it in your profile pic but it's not that high of quality.
I've just put the slant 6 out of mine into the machine shop for a freshen up and will be bulling it back up with shiny new parts to (hopefully) avoid that kind of problem. Treating the underside of the car while I wait so that I can drive it through the winter.
Would love to go down the 318 route but I've got to consider insurance
