NONE .. Get a 727 auto with a stall, you wont regret it ... Get a manual and you will regret it ...

It won't be making much over 400hp at max so there should be a manual that can handle it but if not or if it costs to much I might have to look into 727 but would much rather a manual... Should I start another thread for the 318 questions?

Less confusing and easier to reference if you do so!

Hey aussieutelvr, it seems you change your mind - as often as a bloody sheila..

( & if you are a sheila - can I just add.. 'Not that there's anything wrong with that' - Ok)..

But if you still want a Valiant ute to run hard, & steer/handle real well, the hot 265 option would be better than a heavy ol' 8..

I've got some ( new in box) 265 performance parts (such as.. 6-pack inlet manifold, cam/lifters/oil pump gear) you could have at a serious discount..
..if you are serious, that is.. so, P.M. me, if you are..

Keep it basic! to go v8 need the k-frame! try and find one? Don't buy anything until you know what your in for? Re-building the front end takes so long!

Do compression test on the motor now! if its good fit 2br holley, manifold, extractors 2 1/2 system & diff gears 3.89 and it will make it good improvement!
